Meet Captain Nick Hagadone
Meet Captain Nick Hagadone and Waypoint Charters
Captain Nick Hagadone has been fishing Lake Superior for the past 15 years. Ever since he caught his first fish on Lake Superior he has been hooked on fishing this beautiful Great Lake. What Captain Nick loves most about fishing Lake Superior is that each and every day is different. Nick loves the challenge of targeting the many different sport fish that live in live in this lake and using many different techniques to do so. Waypoint Charters embodies Nick's passion for fishing and also provides guests with the opportunity and equipment necessary to fall in love with fishing Lake Superior in the same way that Captain Nick has.
A Certified Captain, DNR Compliant, and Trained Lifeguard with CPR Certification, Captain Nick is the best person to guide you in the adventure of a lifetime while cruising the shores of Minnesota’s Lake Superior.
On top of being highly trained and qualified, Nick is recognized among his peers as being one of the best Lake Superior Salmon and Lake Trout fishing guides. However, if you name a species of fish that lives in Lake Superior, chances are Captain Nick is probably an expert at targeting it. When it comes to targeting these different species Captain Nick puts a big emphasis on teaching his guests about each individual species and how to target them most successfully in Lake Superior. We look forward to each and every trip and are always grateful for the opportunity to teach our guests the ins and outs of the superb fishery of Lake Superior.
