From trolling for salmon to jigging for trout, Nick thrives on adapting to the changing conditions of Lake Superior and sharing that excitement with his guests.

Captain Nick’s professional qualifications reflect his dedication to both safety and excellence. As a Certified Captain who is DNR compliant, a trained lifeguard, and CPR certified, he ensures every outing is conducted with care and professionalism. Among fellow guides, Captain Nick is widely respected for his expertise in salmon and lake trout fishing on Lake Superior. His knowledge spans a wide range of species, including chinook salmon, coho salmon, brown trout, steelhead trout, pink salmon, and lake whitefish. About the Boat

Waypoint Charters operates a 27’ Pursuit powered by twin 350HP Volvo engines, delivering strength, speed, and reliability on the water. With a maximum speed of 37 knots, this vessel is built to perform while providing comfort for up to six guests. Originally built in 2000, the Pursuit has a proven history of durability and remains a dependable choice for fishing on Lake Superior. Its design balances performance with comfort, making it an ideal boat for a productive and enjoyable day on the lake.

DEPOSIT: A deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied at checkout

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash.

GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 14 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.

TIPPING: Tips to your guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
